Passport Acceptance Agency

• If you are applying for a passport for a minor under the age of 16, both parents must be present unless one parent has filled out a State of Consent (form 3053)
• The average processing time for passports is four to six weeks. Expedited applications take between two to three weeks.

• Once you have submitted your application, you can check the status of your Passport application on the U.S. Department of State website at: www.travel.state.gov/passport
• Please allow 5-7 days for your passport information to be loaded online.

Photos
We can take your passport photos at Draper City. The cost is $10.

To expedite the process, please bring the following items:

• A check, money order or certified check made payable to the U.S. Department of State for your Passport Fees.
• Cash, check, credit card or debit card to pay your execution fees to Draper City.
• Valid picture ID
  • Current driver's license
  • Aircraft pilot's license
  • Official military ID card
  • Parent's identification for a child's passport (under age 16)
• Proof of Citizenship
  • Original birth certificate or certified copy issued by the county health department
  • Hospital issued birth certificates are not allowed
  • Original Certificate of Naturalization
  • Original Certificate of Citizenship
  • Previous U.S. passport book or card
