Tree of Light Holiday Lights

Every holiday season Draper City puts up more than 65,000 lights on the trees and the bridge in Draper City Park.  The biggest attraction in the park is the large willow tree in the center of the park.  People from all around come to enjoy the lighting spectacular in the park and it is on everyone's list of favorite attractions during the holiday season.  And the best part of all, it's free.  Draper Park is located at 1300 East 12500 South, Draper, Utah.

Draper City first began lighting up the willow tree and the park in 2008 and each year more and more lights have been added.  Strobe lights were recently added to create a striking lighting technique.

Draper holds a special Tree Lighting Ceremony on the first Monday evening after Thanksgiving.  There is entertainment and then the Mayor pushed the button to light up the entire park.

Tree Lighting Schedule

The lights in Draper Park come on at around 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and then again from 5:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.  The lights will be on through January 1st and start to come down on January 2nd.
