Town Center Plan

Draper City is reconsidering the current Town Center Zone and we are looking for your input to create a plan for the future.

A little history, the current Town Center Zone is the result of planning and outreach sessions conducted during the 2005-2012 time frame.  During the later year, the planning and visioning sessions were focused on development around the construction of the Historic Draper Trax Station.

Over the past year some developments have been proposed, or approved for development, within the Town Center Zone that have raised the question "Is this still what the community wants?" That is what we are seeking an answer to.

We are hosting town halls to gather input from citizens.  We will be showing pictures of the previous planning and visioning session outcomes, as well as examples of other Town Centers and architectural styles, to gage where the community wants to go.

Community Feedback

Additionally staff will be soliciting feedback from community members at Draper Days!

If you can’t join us at a town hall, or we don’t meet you at Draper Days, please submit your comments and feedback  here.

All of the feedback that we receive will be compiled into a public report for all to review.

Staff will suggest adjustments to the current Town Center Zone given the feedback received and then those adjustments will be presented to the Planning Commission and then the City Council.

At both meetings feedback from the public will be welcome.

Thank you for helping us shape the future of the Town Center!
