About Draper Amphitheater
*COVID-19 Update: We have canceled all ticketed events for the immediate future. We are not taking any reservations for the amphitheater (private, commercial, individual, non-profit, or corporate) during the pandemic. We hope to offer events as soon as it is safe to do so and will update this page and our calendar with details.
The Draper Amphitheater is located on South Mountain, nestled against the southeast mountain range. In addition to a general seating capacity of 1,800 and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, the million-dollar outdoor performance venue features a breathtaking view of the entire Salt Lake Valley. We are happy to provide plays, concerts, and many other events to Draper City residents. The amphitheater is also available to rent out for private, commercial, individual, non-profit, or corporate events.
Other features include an enclosed stage with a large front proscenium, dressing rooms, green room, large restrooms, storage and construction rooms, and a concession area. The general admission seating area offers padded seats in the front or seating on the terraced grass on a blanket or lawn chair. With each row terraced above the next, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
The theater amenities include a public grass park, a children’s playground, two parking lots, and nature trails. Patrons may bring in their own food and beverage (no alcoholic beverages allowed), and concessions of hot dogs, chips, ice cream, candy, and popcorn are also available.
Concerts and plays are planned through the summer months, as well as free movie nights for the whole family. With so many options to choose from, there’s something at the Draper Amphitheater for everyone.
