Draper Velodrome

The velodrome track will be built to Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and USA Cycling standards. The Draper Velodrome will host world and international events, attracting thousands of racers and spectators from all over the world. Statistics for other similar facilities indicate annual visitor levels from 50,000 to 100,000 per year. The site would be the 24th velodrome in the U.S. There are more than 800 in the world. The venue will host local and regional race events, as well as provide a training facility for up-and-coming racers and youth. The Salt Lake Velodrome Association (SLVA) has collected more than 750 signatures of support for this project.

“I love to race and ride MTB, cyclocross and road - basically anything with two wheels! If there was a velodrome near me I would do that too. I am lucky to LOVE what I do!”
